My round in the Aniblog Tourney is looming ever closer, and the first match against Kitsune to Neko is looking to be a bloodbath that will be singed into the minds of the blog-following public for many a moon. Two blogs go in, one blog comes out, there can be only one, to the victor goes the spoils etc. Instead of mindlessly attacking the opposition, I thought I’d mention five scandalous things you don’t know about The Beautiful World so that you may gain greater insight into what they have to offer the discerning reader. Which, as you will soon see, is not pleasant.
5. Kitsune to Neko is a misnomer
There’s an unspoken, probably because it’s nonexistent, rule in the blogosphere that I nonetheless abide by: Your blog name should either convey what you’re about, or should be some kind of pun. Moe Sucks, Caraniel’s Ramblings, and Baka Laureate are perfect examples that earn a passing grade because you either know what they’re about, or the names are punny. Shinde Iie Blog & Review isn’t perfect, but I’m not dead yet so it’s not really a lie.
Alright, so the real name of their blog is technically “The Beautiful World” , but I like the ring of “Kitsune to Neko” better, so that’s what I’m going to use for the rest of this post.
From what I can tell, their site isn’t run by either a fox or a cat; a shocking turn of events. Now, this wouldn’t be a problem if most of their posts were about cats and foxes in anime, since then they’d at least have a theme. Shockingly, and in utter defiance of my rule, Kitsune to Neko talks about cats in only ten posts, and only one has anything to do with foxes. Sure, they talk about the beauty of the world on a regular basis, but does that matter when compared to the fact that they don’t blog about foxes or cats? From this, we can conclude that they’re liars, animal haters and I assume thieves, because why not assume the worst?
4. Kitsune to Neko hasn’t invited Rick Santorum to write a post warning of the dangers of Boku no Pico
Whether you find him to be a joke or just outright hate him, Rick Santorum has some unpleasant things to say about the state of the world. When nobody else would write a post taking his point of view when watching Boku no Pico, stumbling his way through what sounded like rapturous delight while watching it, I did. And Foxy Lady and Neko didn’t, because they hate America. Commies.
3. Kitsune to Neko doesn’t have a purple theme
I know, doesn’t it just piss you off? Do you know what would soothe that vicious rage? Voting for the site with one of the purplest themes in the Tourney just to spite them.
2. Kitsune to Neko hates children
This took some digging through their site, but I found something startling. In their post on what makes the world beautiful, I found the following line, taken word for word: “A girl that cries because it forgot its drawing for her mom in the classroom, doesn’t it make the world beautiful?” Not only do they not see a little girl as a person, referring to her as “it”, but they very clearly get sadistic pleasure out of “its” disappointment and anguish. Their idea of beauty is stained with the tears of children, set to a background chorus of high-pitched screams of unbridled terror. Do you even need context at this point? Of course you don’t, because they hate context almost as much as children! But do you know who doesn’t hate children? I don’t hate children.
1. Kitsune to Neko isn’t Shinde Iie Anime Blog & Review
I think this is pretty much self explanatory.
—–
So knowing all this now, that they’re liars that hate America, animals, and children, and American children most of all, do you really want to give them your vote? You’re all good boys and girls, so of course not. In the wise, slightly unintelligible words of Ivan Drago:
Vote Shinde Iie Anime Blog & Review to break Kitsune to Neko in the Aniblog Tourney on April 21st.
Preemptive attack… I like it, but i wonder how she will respond to this.
Damn commies.
We must do all we can to crush them. DEMOCRACY, YEAH!
You threw the glove, I throw my tail

Now, I am glad I do not have to go against you >_<
Your blog’s name isn’t misleading, so you’d have no reason to fear me.
This means I need more Vikings on my blog.
Good luck in the tourney!
Get on it, bucko!
Oh, and I totally voted for you since you have good reasons not to vote for… erm communism. Can’t let those guys win. (also there are other reasons, but I’ll get to them in my blog critiques.)
The talk of a true American. Well done.
You gained my vote and my follow, good sir. Keep it up!
