I don’t know what I hate the most in horror or suspense films in general: Stupid people who somehow never get their comeuppance despite repeatedly rubbing the fact that they’re miraculously still alive in Death’s face, how people never/can’t call for help when they need it, or when these characters are absolutely detestable to the point that you want them to die all the more without feeling like a worse person in the process. Mirai Nikki managed to trip two of the three traps in this thirteenth episode, and it earned much of my ire for doing so… but it also earned many brownie points for the magnificently QUALITY closing shot before the credits rolled.
